User Manual for imaxpower powerpack

Please read the following carefully before using the product and be sure to keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

Safety Precautions

• Do not expose the product to direct flame, heat or sunshine, as such exposure may result in burning, explosion, and/or generation of toxic gases.
• Do not short-link the USB port.
• Do not store or transport the product with metal objects.
• Do not disassemble or modify the product.
• Do not bring the unit into contact with water or any other liquid. If liquid enters the product, immediately unplug the product from any attached power source or device. Continuing to use the product after liquid has entered it may result in fire or electrical shock.
• Discontinue use of the power pack if electrolytic liquid leakage, strange odor, overheating, color change, or any other peculiar occurrence is detected.
• Do not operate above 60C (140F). It is best to operate the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak between 15C and 25C(59F and 77F).

Operating Guidance

A. Charging imaxpower powerpack Power Pak

1. Charging via AC Adapter: A complete adapter consists of an adapter (Pic2) and a cable (Pic3) .Plug the cable into the adapter to assemble the complete adapter. Please refer to (Pic2). Connect the output end of the cable with the Input port (2) of the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak; Plug the adapter into an AC wall outlet to charge the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak.

2. Charging via PC: Connect the output end of the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak with the USB port of a computer with the cable, to realize charging the Power Pak via PC.

3. When the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak becomes fully charged, the Capacity indicator (Pic4) (Full) will become lit.

B. Checking the capacity and the working status

Check the amount of power remaining in the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak by pushing the Capacity Checking button (1), you can see Low, Half and Full from the Capacity Indicator (Pic4).

Pic 4 describes how to check the capacity remaining in the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak and the working status of Power Pak.

C. Powering your mobile device

1. Check the capacity remaining in the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak. If the capacity is low, please charge it as indicated in Part A before proceeding to the following step.

2. Select the proper connector (Pic5) for your mobile device.

3. Connect the connector to the output end of the cable. Insert the other end of the cable into the Output port (5) of the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak. Plug the connector into your mobile device (refer to Pic5). The imaxpower powerpack Power Pak will begin to provide power to your mobile device.

4. If your mobile device is capable of being charged directly from a computer's USB port (such devices include MP3/4, PDAs, Portable Game Player, and smart phones), simply connect your mobile device to the USB cable provided with it and connect the USB cable to the Output port of the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak to supply power to your mobile device.

5. Once the proper connections have been made, the working indicator (Use) will turn on and the device will display that it is being charged.

• Please read this manual carefully before using the product.
• Be sure to select the proper connector in order to prevent damage.
• Do not connect the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak to a device and do not attempt to supply power to a device while imaxpower powerpack Power Pak is being recharged.
• Do not leave any cable plugged into the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak except when it is being recharged or except when it is supplying power to a device.
• Use only the special adapter that is supplied with the product. Do not use any other adapter, as this may be dangerous to you, other devices and the product.

Storage and Maintenance

• If your imaxpower powerpack Power Pak will not be used for an extended period of time, please take the following steps once a year to ensure proper functioning: 1) Charge the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak; 2) Discharge the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak by using it to supply power to a mobile device; 3) Recharge the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak to 50% capacity; 4) Store the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak in a cool, dry place to avoid short-circuiting and battery damage.
• To ensure the optimal performance, discharge and recharge your imaxpower powerpack Power Pak every three months.
• Do not expose the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak to eimaxpower powerpack temperatures or humidity in order to avoid short-circuiting and battery damage.
• Should the imaxpower powerpack Power Pak need disposal, it must be disposed of properly. Do not dispose of it in trash receptacles and do not attempt to incinerate it.

Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing difficulties with your imaxpower powerpack Power Pak:

1. Check the following items in the table to find a possible cause and solution.

2. If you are still unable to solve the problem, consult your imaxpower powerpack Power Pak dealer or service station.
